Modern Life

The Good Living magazine in the Sydney Morning Herald reports that the consumption of oranges is on the decline in Britain. Researchers claim it is because people are too busy to peel them.

WTF!

  3. I read this too. What a load of guff. Oranges are still flying off the shelves. Maybe we all have more fruity choice these days and oranges are just further down the list. Personally, I'd dump pears and apples - they're so dull...

  4. My choice is to drink the juice than to try and get it from the fruit itself. But I never peel. I just slice into eight pieces, chomp and then peel. It makes it a lot easier. ;-)

  6. In America the decline in orange consumption might be due to high prices. I was surprised at how much oranges cost the last time Spouse & I were shopping.

    Mark :-)
