Salt and Pepper

I tend to shave daily even though it is an activity I detest and wish I didn't have to do.

However I haven't shaved since my hospital discharge last Saturday revelling in any excuse for slothfulness during my recovery. I don't grow a very attractive beard. It is quite uneven and...oh my...all those grey whiskers! I look like a poor man's Ernest Hemingway.

  1. One of the few pleasures of being unwell, to forget about any personal grooming for a couple of days.

  2. That's almost a weeks worth of growth? I envy you.

    1. You have even coverage
    2. You have slow growth, after that long I'd look like a werewolf!

And I'm a huge fan of the S&P thing... maybe you should hang onto it?

  3. I've never been good at the beard thing, either. Since I stopped working, I stopped shaving daily. I grew one of those 90s beards where there's just hair around your mouth and on your chin, which I always thought looked stupid and swore I'd never do. Now I've had it for seven years.

But I only shave the rest every few days or so, unless I'm going out, then I clean up. I'm officially scruffy lookin'.
